R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s mom, Frankie Lons, is set to release her first book entitled “Best Years I Never Had.”
Lons, a reality television star on Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is and VH1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, offers readers a memoir on her drug addiction, struggles and new found fame.
“It tells the story of a person who’s been through everything from battling with drugs to resorting to prostitution and everything in between…this is her journey to turn her life around and merge into society,” explains Frankie’s Manager, Leroy McMath. “She’s showing people that she has changed her life and they can do it too.”
“The Best Years I Never Had” will go on sale on January 20th.
In related news, Lons’ daughter Keyshia Cole is gearing up for the release of her fifth studio album ‘Woman to Woman.’
