When sound meets technology the possibilities are endless. Last night in the heart of Atlanta, R&B heavyweight Keri Hilson was the guest of honor at V-103 & Metro PCS’s âEvolution: The Sound + Technologyâ Experience. The event was hosted by the phone carrier to launch their new Samsung Craft 4G LTE phone.
Fans of Hilson and Metro PCS enjoyed a night of music, h’orderves, and networking held at one of Atlanta’s premier art museums.
Singersroom was able to get an exclusive interview with Jim Moreland, Metro PCS’s General Manager and Vice President for Georgia. He spoke highly of the new touchscreen phone. When commenting on the over-the-top event he said, “We wanted to have a celebration that really let people enjoy the evening and bask in what we’re bringing to Atlanta.”
Moreland went on to tell Singersroom that Hilson was perfect for the event, “mainly because she’s great!” Later, he stated that, “Keri is the type of entertainer we wanted to bring to show the magnitude of the event.”
After performing her hit single ‘Pretty Girl Rock’ and a couple fan favorites, the songbird took pictures and spoke with a few fans before exiting the building.
