Following a slew of mixtapes that successfully propelled Cali crooner Adrian Marcel into the spotlight, he’s back with a new banger featuring Wale and fellow Cali artist E-40 with “WAM.”
Anything with E-40 on the track is meant to party to, and “WAM” is no exception! Producers Chrishan The Prince & Red Wine use a sample of The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” as Wale opens the track with strong bars before Marcel appears with a melody reference of ODB’s “Got Your Money.” E-40 then takes the reigns with his signature, playful flow.
This should garner major radio pay! Marcel is prepping his debut album GMFU (Got Me Fucked Up) later this spring.
