Dawn Richard is an American singer-songwriter and dancer from New Orleans, Louisiana. She has been active in the music industry since she was a teenager and gained attention for her solo project ‘Goldenheart’ as well as being part of the musical groups Danity Kane and Diddy–Dirty Money. Richard’s career began when she auditioned for the MTV show Making The Band 3 at age 17.
