RL is most noted for being the frontman for the R&B group Next. In 2002 Huggar released his only solo album, RL: Ements, featuring the single "Got Me A Model". RL first distinguished himself outside of NEXT with his duet with Deborah Cox on the song "We Can't Be Friends" as well as other feature projects. RL followed up that effort with "Best Man" the super-group track from the The Best Man (1999) soundtrack which also featured Ginuwine, Tyrese & Case. By the time RL's Rev.
