The unique Franz is not only a musician, but also an acclaimed author. A few of his books include "The Humorless Ladies of Border Control: Touring the Punk Underground from Belgrade to Ulaanbaatar." He can express himself with equal skill in both writing and music.
Surprisingly, Franz wasn't always a musician. He spent time in Europe working in diplomacy and translation services, before switching to the world of rock'n'roll. This gives him a special perspective which he often uses in his music.
It's not widely known, but Franz is also an expert accordion player! He masters this difficult instrument with ease.
