Singer-songwriter-dancer SOSUPERSAM shares her new jam session EP, Priority. The three-track project is the follow up to Sam’s 2016 Garden. Priority is packaged as SOSUPERSAM’s way of bringing enchanting R&B back to music’s doorstep.
As a member of Los Angeles based music group, Soulection, SOSUPERSAM lifts the project off with lead single “Drip.” Produced by Nick Pacoli, “Drip” displays flow over the hazy beat. When describing the song’s theme Sam lends its reference to that of a mystical experience, “the lyrics recall the adrenaline rush of a misadventure that ended with skinny dipping as the sun was rising over Bangkok.”
Priority aims to mesh modern R&B with vivid life experiences, adding a smooth and unique twist to the electronic scene. It explores the different states of love and relationships with songs “Drip,” “Good For It,” and “Priority.”
