Bobby V is back in the news again for an incident that has nothing to do with his music career. The R&b veteran has been accused of rape by an unidentified woman
According to TMZ, the alleged victim filed a police report in Cobb County, GA and named Bobby V as the assaulter. The incident allegedly took place on Sunday (March 18). The circumstances surrounding the event is currently unclear, but authorities are investigating the woman’s claim.
Bobby’s rep claim that woman’s attempt is a “weak yet calculated attempt to obtain financial gain through ulterior motives.”
The rep also calls the alleged victim’s account of the incident a “false report.”
“Bobby takes any allegation against women very seriously,” the rep added. “However, false allegations damage true victims of sexual abuse.”
Almost a year ago, Bobby V was involved in another incident which he claimed he was the victim of an extortion plot. A transgender prostitute claimed he skipped out on paying her and a video of their alleged encounter surfaced online.
Bobby V is promoting his latest studio album, Electrik, released earlier this month.
