Producer & songwriter Fabian Mazur introduces his new sounds featuring fellow R&B singer Cameron Forbes on the newly released single, “If U Wanted To.” His signature electronic and bouncy sound with a clear inspiration from hip-hop and R&B is all over this track.
Hailing from Copenhagen, Mazur was birthed into a musically-rich family. His parents are career jazz musicians who continue to tour to this day. His father Klavs Hovman plays the bass and is a solid foundation in the Danish jazz scene. His mother Marilyn Mazur is a world-renowned percussionist who has toured with legends such as Miles Davis and Wayne Shorter.
The single released via Lowly Palace is said to be the first of several R&B-flavored tracks Lowly Palace will release from Mazur in the coming months. Over the last five weeks, a short video clip has been made available in a mini-movie format, with the series telling a story of what the record is about.
Fabian Mazur first appeared on the scene after releasing his debut single, “Right Now,” which garnered over 7.2 million Spotify plays. His follow up single “Sun Goes Down” won everyone over with two million Spotify plays.
