R&B crooner Lloyd and rapper Big K.R.I.T. take us back to ‘1999’ in the music video for their new collaboration.
In the Tyler Yee-directed clip, set “somewhere near Atlanta on Oct. 27, 1999,” the duo are joined by a group of pretty ladies who flaunt their bodies while the two deliver their vocals and lyrics in a car lot. The clip also showcases some 90’s whips like a DeLorean and a Mercedes Benz.
“Girl, you’re working with some ass, yeah, you’re bad, yeah / Make a ni**a spend his cash, yeah, his last year,” Lloyd sings. “Girl, you’re working with some ass, yeah, you’re bad, yeah / Make a ni**a spend his cash, I do love you.”
“1999” is lifted off K.R.I.T.’s album, ‘4eva Is a Mighty Long Time.’
