It looks like the Spice Girls will be partying with royalty. The legendary group has been summoned to perform at the royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Member Mel B sort of confirmed the performance but was tight-lipped on all other details. All five members reportedly received the invitation, but they cannot speak about the event, due to an anonymity clause.
“I can’t really say anything about that because I will get into trouble,” Mel B told Us Weekly, weeks after claiming that the band were set to attend the royal nuptials.
Recently, Spice Girls members Melanie Brown (Mel B), Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm confirmed they are planning to work on new projects after meeting for the first time since 2012.
The Spice Girls – Brown, Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm – recently confirmed they are planning to work on new projects after meeting for the first time since 2012.
Geri Horner also added some hype surrounding the group’s reconnection on Instagram, stating “girl power is alive and well.”
“We are friends at the end of the day. We have tea and hangout and we talk about stuff. We are all parents now and for us five to be able to say that we can sell out arenas and concerts, that is a good feeling,” Mel B, 42, told reporters during the America’s Got Talent red carpet kick off in Pasadena, California, on Monday, March 12 . “My 19-year-old calls me vintage and I don’t know if that is cool or not but I will take it as cool.”
Prince Harry, 33, is a fan of the Spice Girls and is said to be excited about the show.
