At last year’s Governer’s Ball, Childish Gambino hinted towards the closing of a chapter. “I’ll see you for the last Gambino album,” Gambino told the Governors Ball crowd as he closed out his set with the hit single “Redbone.”
Gambino (real name Donald Glover) has been pretty busy. Between prepping for his Broadway debut and writing and filming for his hit FX series ‘Atlanta,’ the renaissance man has a pretty hefty plate in front of him.
As ‘Atlanta’ returned to our television screens and word got out that Donald had a hand in writing a few hits for the box office hit ‘Black Panther,’ the mastermind creative may be parting ways with the Gambino brand.
Donald announced the Childish Gambino tour via Twitter today (March 5th).
