‘Gravity’ taps into the core of R&B, tapping into all the right emotions while highlighting the sultry R&B songstress’ richly-textured vocals and soothing delivery.
‘Gravity’ appears on Yasmin’s 2017-released 5-song EP titled ‘Blank Canvas,’ a small sample of her fresh and freeing sound.
The indie singer/songwriter draws inspiration from the late great Tupac Shakur. Motivated by his wisdom and passion, Yasmin began writing poetry and learned how to translate them into songs so that she could express herself freely. She started constructing her version of modern R&B with the flare of her misfit mentality. While mixing her fearlessness, dedication and hard work, Yasmin’s sonic style have bloomed beautifully.
