Sammie’s new music video for “Too Long” captures the intimate thoughts of his sexy leading lady as she fantasizes about getting her kitty kissed amongst other things. In the clip, directed by Keoni Marcelo, the two caught eyes in a club before her thoughts begin to run wild, which includes making out in a bathroom stall and in a secluded area where she imagines Sammie going down on her. In the end, reality kicked in, and the two continued to flirt before taking a shot together.
“Too Long,” the second single off Sammie’s third studio album, Coming of Age, samples R. Kelly’s hit single, “You Remind Me of Something.”
Coming of Age, which debuted at #2 on the iTunes R&B charts, represents an evolution from boy-to-man and showcases Sammie’s versatility as well as his undeniable soul. The project features appearances from Eric Bellinger and fellow Florida native Rick Ross.
“This album connects all the dots: How I got my start, all the things I’ve gone through to become the 30-year-old man I am today, so “Coming of Age” just made sense,” Sammie told Singersroom. “I’ve matured so much, not just in age, but also through experiences that this industry actually puts you through.”
Sammie is gearing up to release the companion documentary, “Coming of Age,” which highlights his journey and career from his introduction into the music industry as a pre-teen to present day. Watch the trailer here.
