Jessie Ware unwraps a touching music video for her emotional and heartfelt single, “Alone.” In the clip, shot in the beautiful art deco surrounds of Eltham Palace in London and directed by Charlie Robbins, the camera focuses only on the London-born singer/songwriter as she delivers her exhilarating message of hope and love.
“Say that you’re the one who’s taking me home / ‘Cause I want you on my skin and my bones,” she sings. “Knocking me off of my feet / Just say I’m the one that you need.”
“Alone,” co-written by Kid Harpoon and Sarah Aarons, and produced by Stint, will appear on Ware’s forthcoming third album, Glasshouse (pre-order), slated to arrive on October 20th via PMR/Friends Keep Secrets/Interscope Records. The project was written and recorded between London and LA, and features a running theme of family.
Along with the upcoming release, Ware is scheduled for a few upcoming tour dates stateside:
October 30 New York, NY Le Poisson Rouge
November 1 San Francisco, CA The Independent
November 2 Los Angeles, CA Troubadour
