Following the release of a 10-minute short film for her latest single, “Love a Loser,” singer/model Cassie Ventura drops off the official music video for the tragic love affair record.
Directed by Harrison Boyce and executive produced by Diddy, the visual highlights the highs and lows of Cassie’s relationship with a man, played by Cristoforo Donadi, who grew up in the projects in Paris, France. In the dramatic visual, Cassie and her lover hit the open road, party with strangers, abuse alcohol and argue before she reaches her limit and takes off.
“I wanted to do something different from a regular music video, which I still have,” Cassie said about the short film during an appearance on TRL. “I worked with Harrison Boyce, he directed it, and I really enjoyed being part of it. It was really really fun.”
Produced by Ben Billions and Danny Boy, “Love a Loser” is slated to appear on Cassie’s long-delayed sophomore album, which currently has no release date. She dropped her debut album over a decade ago.
