Rising R&B star SZA joins Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning band Maroon 5 in the music video for their collaborative single, “What Lovers Do.” Directed by Joseph Kahn, the visual is another larger-than-life cinematic affair that spotlights the competitive side of SZA and bandleader Adam Levine as they run on a track, ride jet skis, and more before facing off in a card game.
“What Lovers Do” has been performing well on the charts; it quickly climbed up the Top 40 and HOT AC radio charts, and has already clocked 65+ million streams on Spotify and 25+ million on YouTube.
In related news, SZA is also celebrating a new milestone in her young career. The TDE songstress’ single, “Love Galore,” featuring rapper Travis Scott has surpassed the million mark, landing the singer/songwriter her first platinum plaque.
“MY FIRST PLATINUM RECORD !!!” she wrote. “AHHH!! FACK!! Thank you SO f*cking much for listening!”
