Bryson Tiller takes some time away from his “Set It Off Tour” to deliver a music video for his latest single, “Run Me Dry,” a record from his latest album, ‘True to Self.’
In the dimly-lit clip, red-light special at times, Tiller puts the focus on his leading lady as he spits the harsh lyrics over the island-tinged track. Spilling his emotions, the Kentucky crooner lets it be known that he’s ready to toss out his gold-digging lady. “I think she love me, ’cause I got the check on me/ Wan’ spend the day and flex on me/ Put a curse and hex on me/ Scratch out my name, put the X on me,” sings Tiller. Later, Tiller finds himself hanging out with a biker chick.
Bryson is currently on his “Set It Off Tour” with H.E.R. and Metro Booming in support of, True to Self, which topped the Billboard 200 chart this summer (2017). Next month, he is heading out on the U.K. and European leg of the trek with SZA.
