Love is in the air!
Ella Mai takes a trip to the islands with her love interest in the music video for her latest single, “Lay Up.”
In the clip, DJ Mustard’s protégée and her beau enjoy each other’s company at their resort, including some fun in the pool, a romantic dinner by the poolside, and cuddling.
“No rules, no plans, this is all for us / Put your phone down boy, time to chill / Cause I want you to, work up on this, turn up on this,” Ella sings.
“Lay Up” is lifted from the London-born R&B singer’s ‘CHANGE‘ EP, released in November (2016) via Mustard’s 10 Summers imprint.
Ella is set to join Kehlani on her “SweetSexySavage Tour,” which kicks off on February 21st in Montreal.
