R&B singer Robin Thicke is mourning the loss of his father, Alan Thicke, 69, who passed away after a massive heart attack on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
As we reported, the incident happened while Alan was playing hockey with his 19-year-old son, Carter. He was rushed to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center around noon Tuesday, December 13th, and pronounced dead there.
People all over the world, including the R&B community, poured in their personal tributes and memories of Alan, but one that stood at the top came from his son, Robin.
“My father passed away today,” Thicke wrote on Instagram. “He was the best man I ever knew. The best friend I ever had. Let’s all rejoice and celebrate the joy he brought to every room he was in. We love you Alan Thicke. Thank you for your love. Love, your grateful son.”
