Leon Bridges and his Motown label-mates, Kevin Ross, makes an appearance in the visual.
In the dimly-lit clip, directed by Chris Scholar, BJ finds solace with “beautiful black people” as he spends time hanging with friends in a house.
“Uncle Marvin” not only sample “Cleo’s Apartment,” it also features vocals of Gaye as BJ sings an ode to the love his woman gives him. The record will appear on BJ’s forthcoming 8-song mixtape, The Lost Files: Cuffing Season, due out December 14.
