Rita Ora is the new host of VH1’s “America’s Next Top Model,” and she’s doing her part to raise anticipation for the upcoming show, which is set to premiere on Monday, December 12.
One of her many TV stops this week was a sit down with Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Scott Wolf on “LIVE with Kelly.”
“I remember all the iconic moments of Tyra [Banks] and the girls and growing up. For me, it’s the first time I saw anything on TV that was fashion meets reality meets drama,” Rita told Kelly about her love for America’s Next Top Model. “Now kind of being in it and seeing how it feels; it’s honestly a crazy rollercoaster for the girls.”
Draped in a gorgeous Ellery dress and Christian Louboutin heels, Ora also confirmed that a lot of the iconic moments that we’ve come to know from Top Model would remain, but there will be some new challenges.
Ora also paid a visit to “The Wendy Williams Show,” and in addition to speaking about Top Model, she touched on her music career.
“I’ve been in such a hoo-haw with the music that it turned into a thing where I wanted to outdo myself,” she states. “So I started doing other things and why not? … I feel like I’m in one of the most powerful positions I’ve ever been in in my life.”
Ora, who was previously signed to Roc Nation, signed to Atlantic Records earlier this year and will release her new album in 2017. She is going back to her roots, recording in her hometown of London.
