After creating buzz with her offerings “You Already Know,” “Close To You (Remix)” and “Let Me In,” Mississippi-raised singer/songwriter JPride drops her debut mixtape titled December 1st.
With the objective to bring back feeling and emotion to mainstream R&B, the project features 10-tracks of originals and re-imaginings of songs. Pride’s 80s and 90s influence is evident in her melodies, delivery, and song choices (i.e. “Can’t Help It,” “Saturday Love”).
