Subscription service Youtube Red has enlisted Mariah Carey, DJ Khaled and more for “The Keys of Christmas,” a holiday special that will include original musical performances by Carey, Khaled, Ciara, Fifth Harmony and Boyce Avenue.
The special will tell the story of Carey and the rest of the ensemble cast who will lead YouTube comedian and musician Rudy Mancuso on a “magical adventure of the true meaning of Christmas” to uncover what happens when you accidentally go off the grid on Christmas Eve.
The special also will feature original musical performances by Alex Aiono, Nicky Jam, Bebe Rexha and the Gregory Brothers, while former boxing champ Mike Tyson will make a special appearance.
“The Keys of Christmas” is directed by Dave Meyers, the director behind Katy Perry’s “Firework,” Pink’s “Just Like Fire” and Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been.” Youtube Red is $9.99/month.
“The Keys of Christmas is slated to debut on YouTube Red on Dec. 19th.
