Long-time collaborators Ashanti and Ja Rule, who recently wrapped a sold-out co-headlining U.S. tour, delivered another memorable performance recently, this time at the famed Apollo Theater in New York City.
Ashanti stunned in a dazzling purple, sequined dress, and Ja Rule wore all black as they delivered the remix of the Broadway hit: On ‘Helpless,’ Ashanti assumes the role of Elizabeth Hamilton (Eliza) while JaRule plays husband Alexander.
‘Helpless’ appears on The Hamilton Mixtape, available now, and features appearances by Chance the Rapper, Usher, Alicia Keys, Nas, Queen Latifah, Aloe Blacc, and more.
