Last weekend, 22-year-old San Diego native and American Idol Season 15 alum Avalon Young premiered the new visual for her hit single “Favorite.”
“I think ‘Favorite’ is a song that portrays young love really well,” Avalon says. “It’s about infatuation and the way you prioritize your career and that person who you’re infatuated with. “Favorite” was the easiest song to write from the album. Everything came to us so organically and we were automatically in love with the way the cadence of the lyrics flowed. I want it to be the one song that makes you feel good every time you hear it because that’s definitely how we felt when we wrote and recorded it.“
The video shows Young as she spends a day with her bae and they go wherever the wind takes them. Young’s buttery vocals carry the lovey sentiments along.
