If you’re the type of person that like a little sexy mixed with some gangsta then R&B veteran Keke Wyatt’s new music video for ‘Jodeci’ is right up your alley. In the clip, the gold fronts and overalls rocking R&B Diva provides her gully tale of love and romance.
‘Jodeci,’ which pays homage to iconic R&B group Jodeci, is lifted from the new deluxe version of Wyatt’s fourth studio album, Rated Love, dropping on October 21st. The standard version was released six months ago.
The wife and mother of eight proclaimed the success of the track on Instagram with a caption: “I think we got one with my new single “Jodeci”!!! I wanna know what y’all think???”
Wyatt says the way she expresses her love, and her “strong” demeanor derives from her previous, abusive marriage.
“I can be aggressive sometimes, now, because of being hurt physically and the fear to where you keep a wall up,” she told the Huffington Post. “But it also helped open my eyes as to seek God more and make sure I let him pair me with the right person so that I don’t have to worry about somebody putting their hands on me.”
