A recent hospitalization has prompted Toni Braxton to postpone the first two stops on her upcoming U.S. tour. The trek was slated to launch on October 8th in Oakland and October 9th in LA but now will start Wednesday, October 12th in Detroit. The canceled dates have been rescheduled for January 28 and 29. Tickets originally purchased for the October 8th and 9th dates will be honored on the rescheduled dates.
As previously reported, Toni was in the hospital for several days for complications from Lupus. She is doing fine now and continues to rest at home. Lupus is a serious disease which Toni has lived with since 2010 and must be monitored at all times.
“I am so excited about going back on the road and seeing all of my wonderful fans and friends,” states Braxton. “Everyone’s life is complicated and this is just a condition that I live with.”
