President Barack Obama’s 55th birthday may have been last week (Thursday, August 4th), but Friday night was the party, and from celeb accounts, it was lit!
According to TMZ, the stars aligned for the President’ birthday bash at the White House, which is his last birthday as President of the United States. The star-studded bash included a lengthy celebrity list including Beyonce and Jay Z, Usher, Common, Jordin Sparks, Timbaland, singer Tamia and her husband Grant Hill, rappers Pusha T and Kendrick Lamar, Nick Jonas, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, and Stevie Wonder.
Other non-musical celebs in attendance included Tyler Perry, Will Ferrell, NBA player Chris Paul, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gayle King, Samuel L Jackson, Al Roker, director George Lucas, Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, designer Jason Wu, and Reverend Al Sharpton to name a few.
