Back in April, St. Louis artist Mai Lee dropped her single “Low Key,” the Bradd Young/Vega HBK-produced trap track about knowing the her man is cheating.
Now she’s dropped the official video where she rallies a bunch of her female companions to come together to confront her two-timing beau. They burn his jacket and unleash some fiery choreography to celebrate his nonexistence in her life. The song was written from real life experiences about being hurt by a significant other and is quickly becoming a true women’s anthem.
The video was choreographed by celebrity choreographer Redd Williams and directed by Jon Michael Ryan & Bradd Young. It was shot in Mai Lee’s hometown of St. Louis.
“Low Key” is currently at radio in over 40 markets across the country & has over 100,000 views on Soundcloud.
Mai Lee most recently performed at Radio One’s Superjam in St. Louis featuring Fetty Wap, K. Michelle, 50 Cent and 2 Chainz and will be announcing a promo tour date in September.
