Reality TV star/Lil Wayne’s ex-wife Toya Wright is enduring two huge losses; over the weekend, it was reported that her two brothers Rudy and Josh Johnson were killed by gun violence.
Fellow New Orleans-native, singer August Alsina, offered his sympathy via Instagram, captioning with a picture of them together: “I’m so sorry Toya. I know your pain too many times over. Sending so much light & love your way. Forever praying for my city, OUR city, New Orleans.”
August is all too familiar with losing a loved one to gun violence; in 2010, Alsina lost his older brother Melvin La’Branch III.

Wright’s brothers were found dead from gunshot wounds in a black SUV on Sunday morning. Police are still investigating. Police asked anyone with information about the killings to contact Homicide Detective Theo Kent at (504) 658-5300.
