Last year, JoJo dropped three singles “Say Love,” “When Love Hurts,” and “Save My Soul” as promo for her debut album as an Atlantic Records signee (and third album overall).
Since then, she’s been working on her album and stopping by Public School 22 in Staten Island, NY to sing with the fifth-grade choir.
Now she’s released a date for her third LP. The singer posted a picture of a pregnancy test with the release date on IG.
October 14th it is! She’s still yet to reveal a title…
Prior to the album release date announcement, she let fans know that music is, indeed, on its way. The one-minute clip shows footage of a precocious JoJo both as a child and as an adult reflecting back on her love of music since day one. A piano ballad plays in the background where JoJo sings, “where would I be without you?”
“Everything starts with music for me. It’s been the most consistent thing in my life. I don’t have a shtick. I don’t have an angle. It’s just me and my music. It’s time,” she says.
