During Adele’s tour stopped in Antwerp, Belgium Sunday (June 12), the singer dedicated the entire show to the victims of the Orlando shooting in Pulse nightclub that happened earlier that morning which left 50 dead and 53 injured.
Before she began her two-hour set, the singer broke down in tears as she acknowledged the victims.
“The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soulmates since I was really young, so I was really moved by it,” she told the crowd. “I don’t know why I’m crying, really, because most of this tonight is pretty miserable, because my songs are f**king miserable,” she joked. “I do have two songs that sound happy, but they’re not.”
