ATL singer-songwriter-producer Verse Simmonds is prepping his upcoming album, To All the Girls, so he rolls out new single/video for “Never Get Enough.”
In the song, you’ll instantly notice and interpolation of Prince’s “When Doves Cry,” coincidentally recorded and filmed before the music icon’s passing. The Trap&B song sees the singer questioning his problems when it comes to love.
“Maybe I’m just like my father / Sometimes I just cannot bother, I got options / Maybe I’m just like my mother / Or maybe I love too easy, but I can judge that easy,” he sings as he stands in dark place with a spotlight and wearing a gold grill.
To All the Girls should arrive shortly.
