Music community Jammcard launched their “How I Got The Gig Series” where background singers and musicians tell the stories of how they got their big break to perform with some of music’s biggest stars.
In the season finale, bassist Miles Mosley talks with Elmo Lovano about how he got the gig working as musical director for Lauryn Hill. Miles is one of the world’s most sought after bassists, with a resume that includes artists such as Mos Def, Kamasi Washington, Kendrick Lamar, Christina Aguilera, Andra Day, Jonathan Davis, Chris Cornell and of course, the West Coast Get Down.
