Timbaland is one busy man! Along with providing the music for FOX’s hit series “Empire,” he’s also planning to add to his workload.
According to THR.com, Timbaland is in talks to serve as executive music producer on the forthcoming CG-animated children’s movie Groove Tails starring Jamie Foxx.
In his role as executive music producer, Timbaland would produce and guide the score for the feature film, in conjunction with Jungle Punks, a music marketing agency who would help Timbo expand into original music for television and film scores, video game soundtracks and sponsorships.
Groove Tails is about a mouse (voiced by Foxx) who’s forced to take up street dancing to pay off an outstanding cheese debt.
Sounds like there’s a lot of hip-hop music involved, and Timbo is a great fit for it!
