The delays in Janet Jackson’s Unbreakable World Tour continue, but this time, we have a solid reason, and this comes straight from Ms. Jackson herself!
In a short video to fans, Jackson explains her tour will be postponed for an even longer time because her and her husband Wissam Al Mana plan to start a family!
“I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour,” she said. However, at almost 50 years old, she doesn’t say how she plans on starting a family, whether it’s through adoption or IVF, or if she’s pregnant already. But she does say she’s resting according to doctor’s orders.
“Please, if you can try to understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can,” she continues.
Back in late 2015, Janet underwent a mystery surgery, with rumors the singer had vocal cord surgery or cancer. In January, she reassured fans she doesn’t have cancer, and in February, rehearsals continued for her tour.
