If the 90s were your decade, then this news is for you!
A slew of 90s hip-hop and R&B stars are joining forces to come to a city near you on the first ever “I Love the ’90s Tour.”
The lineup consists mostly of hip-hop artists such as Tone Loc, Young MC, Kool Moe Dee, Rob Base, Coolio, Kid ‘N Play, Biz Markie, and Salt-N-Pepa. Representing for R&B in the lineup are the groups All-4-One and Color Me Badd.
Thanks to popular demand, what started out as just a few dates this spring has grown into a lengthy 6-month tour, which kicks off April and runs through October.
“It feels like you’re taking people back to a time in their lives that they really enjoyed,” Cheryl “Salt” James of Salt-N-Pepa explained to USA Today about the tour’s appeal. “It’s just one big Nineties party.”
