Keyshia Cole is officially no longer on the majors.
Cole released six albums on Interscope, but now the Bay Area-bred singer is hard at work prepping her debut indie release. Yesterday on Instagram, she announced a new single titled “Best Friend” coming soon. She also announced she’s signed on with Empire Distribution for her forthcoming project.
She captioned: “Decided to release the first single independent!!!! #BestFriend coming soon,” she wrote. “This a very special record for me!!! And I have one of my favs mixing the record!!!! @JaycenJoshua #Family!!! Thanks Jay and also #Empire #Empire and I have decided to team up!!! I really hope u guys Fall in love with the record as much as I have.”
