First, Rihanna’s album ANTI leaked and was clumsily released the day after on TIDAL, then the start of her ANTI World Tour was postponed. Now The Weeknd has dropped out of being the opening act for the European leg of the tour.
Live Nation confirms in a statement: “Due to some unforeseen changes with upcoming projects, The Weeknd will no longer be joining Rihanna on her upcoming international Anti World Tour.”
Currently, Travi$ Scott is Rihanna’s opener. No word yet on who will fill in for Weeknd in Europe.
Meanwhile, Rihanna is prepping her show tonight in Buffalo, New York at the First Niagara Center.
