The music video for Anthony Hamilton’s new single “Amen” is definitely praise worthy, and for much more than less. “With lyrics like, “If I had to testify, I can only say she’s the truth,” you know your in for a sensual clip, filled with beauty and sexiness. The black and white visual displays the R&B/Soul singer’s appreciation for women, hitting the nail right on the head with a beautiful leading lady.
The clip is great to look at, but you still get the point with Hamilton’s powerful and thought-provoking lyrics.
Produced by Salaam Remi and James Poyser, “Amen” will appear on Hamilton’s forthcoming fifth studio album, What I’m Feelin’. On the opus, Hamilton reunites with longtime collaborator Mark Batson for a soul-drenched platter.
“I made this album to be refreshing, uplifting and healing for everyone out there dealing with life’s day-to-day struggles,” Hamilton says about the upcoming project. “‘Amen’ is a show of appreciation for all the good women who make life beautiful and full of love for us men. Now let the folk say Amen and Amen!”
What I’m Feelin’ that will be released on March 25th via RCA Records.
In addition to his new music, Hamilton will be joining fellow Grammy Award winner, Fantasia for a co-headlining tour that starts April 21st.
