For Valentine’s Day, T-Pain releases his new single and lyric video “Officially Yours.”
After his one-time-only live performance of the song at his Nov 2015 NPR Upfront concert, fans persistently requested that he release the R&B song as a single. Now just in time for the day of love, he’s giving the people what they want.
In addition to The Internz-produced song, he produced a lyric video that is solely made of fan-submitted wedding videos and photos of couples from all orientations on their big day. The single’s cover is of Pain and his wife Amber on their wedding day.
About the song, Pain tells Esquire, “It was one [song] that I just had sitting around and I was like, why haven’t I done anything with this song. It’s a great song it just needed some attention,” he said.
“Officially Yours” will appear on T-Pain’s highly anticipated LP “Stoicville: The Phoenix” which is due later this year via Nappy Boy Entertainment/Konvict Muzik/RCA Records.
