R&B crooner turned the big 4-0 on New Year’s Day, but the celebration went down on Friday (Jan.8) when Jamie Foxx and his longtime girlfriend Zena Foster threw him a surprise birthday bash in Hollywood.
With a “Cotton Club” theme, the party was sponsored by Tanqueray and partygoers dressed in their best vintage, formal wear while dancing the night away to tunes by DJ Mark Da Spot and a live band.
Along with Jamie Foxx, guests included actor Michael B. Jordan, actor/comedian Cedric The Entertainer, Boyz II Men member Shawn Stockman, rapper Sage The Gemini, reality star Draya Michele, singer/songwriter Sevyn Streeter, Robbie Jones, his protégés, trio 12Til and femcee SIYA, Danielle Nicolet, Meagan Holder, Chris Spencer, actress Elise Neal, singer/songwriter Lonny Bereal, Mechelle Epps and more.
One person noticeably absent from the crew was Ginuwine (who, after a social media blow-up, revealed tension in the group TGT and led to what can be assumed as the group’s break up).
Look out for Tank’s upcoming LP Sex, Love and Pain II due out on Jan. 22, which is headed by the previous releases “You Don’t Know,” Better For You,” "Already In Love," and “#Bday.”
