If you didn’t know, Spike TV’s popular show “Lip Sync Battle” has gone to whole ‘nother level. Gone are the days of simply dressing like the artist, now there’s whole set changes and background dancers.
Last night (Jan. 7), Magic Mike XXL actor Channing Tatum and his wife, actress/dancer Jenna Dewan-Tatum may have had the best battle so far on the show. Jenna started the battle with an on-point lip sync of Ginuwine’s “Pony” as her husband’s Magic Mike character as a raunchy stripper, painted-on abs and all; she even brought her husband down for an eye-opening lap dance, crotch grabs galore…she took it there.
And just when you thought nothing could top that, Channing upped the ante when he channeled Beyonce with a lip sync of “Run the World (Girls).” Complete with a good weave and her outfit from the video, Channing did his best impression of the infamous tribal dance. BUT what put him on the winner’s side (in my opinion), is when The Queen Bey herself entered the stage to finish off the choreography with him!
