Earlier this fall, it was announced that actress Lex Scott would be playing the R&B songstress Toni Braxton in the Lifetime biopic Un-Break My Heart based off Toni Braxton’s memoir of the same name. Now you can see a sneak peek of what to expect.
Lifetime has released a snap of Scott as Braxton on set, and I must say, it’s pretty good so far! (‘Cause we all know Lifetime gets a bad wrap for their questionable casting choices.)
Other cast members include "Stitchers" star Tiffany Hines as Toni's sister Tamar Braxton, Debbi Morgan (of “Power” and “All My Children fame) as the family matriarch, Evelyn, and "Guiding Light’s” Gavin Houston as Toni’s mentor and collaborator Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.
Un-Break My Heart will air on January 23rd at 8pm EST on Lifetime.
