After dropping a Valentine’s Day EP of piano covers called If You Were Mine, Atlantic Records artist Tank is prepping a new album titled SLP2, set for Winter 2015. The first offering is this Wale-assisted single, "You Don’t Know."
What do you do if your boo asks you if you love them? Tell them you do, of course! And make it count by preferably borrowing Patti LaBelle’s classic lyrics, “If only you knew, how much I do, do love you,” like Tank does. Of course, Tank breaks it down with a contemporary twist as Wale hops on the LaBelle sample:
The video features romance, romance, and more romance when the singer throws a surprise party for his love interest where Wale comes through and Tank’s protégé group 12:Til make a cameo.
Chris Brown is one feature reported to be on SLP2, which is the sequel to his 2007 blockbuster third album, Sex, Love & Pain, which housed the Billboard No. 2 hit, "Please Don’t Go."
SLP2 drops January 22nd and follows his 2014 album, Stronger. Last fall, the singer said the album was going to be his final LP, expressing his frustrations on Twitter regarding the lack of promotion of that album and because fans choose not to buy R&B album anymore.
