Soulstress Lalah Hathaway released her first live album, Lalah Hathaway Live, on October 30th, and the project has debuted at No.1 on Amazon’s R&B digital albums chart!
The album sits in the Top 5 of Amazon’s Hot New Releases in R&B digital albums as well. She also earns her highest-charting project yet on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums at No. 2!
Recorded at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, Lalah Hathaway Live features the daughter of Donny Hathaway as she sings to a loving crowd her fan favorites and covers (including Anita Baker’s “Angel” and her father’s “Little Ghetto Boy” to name a few.)
In a recent interview with Singersroom, Lalah said about the LP, “It’s the record I have really wanted to do my entire life, so it has been really quite a sublime experience creating it.”
