Sassy soulstress Erykah Badu has been chosen to host the 2015 Soul Train Awards! This will be the first time Badu has ever hosted an awards show, but she always keeps it real so it should be hot!
As previously reported, singers The Weeknd and Bruno Mars have the most nominations with five each. Tyrese, Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Jidenna are behind them with four.
Along with hosting duties, Badu is prepping a mixtape But U Caint Use My Phone, from which she already dropped her version of Drake’s “Hotline Bling (Remix).”
The 2015 Soul Train Awards will be taped on November 6th and air on Nov. 29th on Centric and BET at 8 p.m. EST.
