Get into the holiday mood with A Classic Holiday…Presented By MBK, a star-studded compilation featuring remixes and holiday versions by Alicia Keys, Tyrese, Brandy, Coko (of SWV), Gabi Wilson, Elle Varner, B. Slade (formerly known as Tonex), Justine Skye, Daisha, Alex, Anaysha and Livré (pronounced LIV-RAY).
The set features many great renditions of holiday classics. Gabi Wilson take son a poignant rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” while New York-based quintet Livré’s offers an a soulful a capella version of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman,” and SWV’ Coko offers a unique version of “Silent Night.’
The album is presented by producer/manager Jeff Robinson and his company MBK; you may remember Robinson as Alicia Keys’ former manager. About the album’s inspiration, Robinson said, “Holidays are about family, love and of course sharing, so it's with great joy that I had the pleasure of pulling together my MBK Family to create this fantastic holiday album with love.”
