Atlanta-bred crooner Jacquees has made quite a name for himself with crazy-good remixes of popular songs (which he calls “Quemixes”) in his projects Quemix and Quemix 2.
Now a member of Cash Money Records, the 21-year-old singer is prepping for a huge rollout of new music, an album, and tour. But before all that goes down, Jacquees recapped the road to his rising success in an interview from late August.
Earlier this month, Jacquees offered an interview video in which he talked music, meeting Dej Loaf at the BET Awards, choosing money over relationships, and what’s next. In Part 2 of that interview, he dishes on the favorite videos from Quemix 2 and more fan gifts.
“’Me, Patron, & U”, that’s’ probably my favorite video,” he said. “We caught some real money shots.”
